is not neccessary, our product controls the fuel pump, the power supply
and ECU, as you said some new cars since 1998 have ECU , but those old
ones before 1998 don't, so it is not neccessary to be a must to connect
the wiring to an ECU during installation if your car doesn't have one.
If so, just neglect the ECU connection from the wiring diagram duration
installation. |

The
technical issue is as follows:
1. The LED Light on the password controller is on, however no voice instruction
is given.
2. When troubleshooting this issue in correspondance with the manual,
the technicain proceeded to reset the unit. Upon resetting the unit voice
instruction was given, however when attempting to press '2' for English
commands the technican was given Chinese commands.
3. After many attempts to return to the main menu from the Chinese commands,
the technican reset the starter once more and was given the choice for
English or Chinese. He pressed '2' for English and was given English commands,
at this point ALL functionality of the buttons on the password controller
were lost, the voice instruction was given, but there was no way to enter
a number for command.

According
to your description that after reset, the voice instruction is function
well, but the PINPAD password controller doesn't have any response. Which
we believe that you should check the connection of the PINPAD, see if
it is well-connected and insert well to the plug connection port.
For any particular reason that if any component have faulty performance,
you should firstly check the definited connection of wires or cables of
such component, if then you still can't rectify the issue, you can further
subsitute the same component from another set to find out the true reason.
If the issue settled, then use the suspected defeated component to apply
to another installation set for testing. If the component can work properly
that means your former connection of wires or cables is not well. If the
restallation still remain such issue, then it is the problem of the component
itself. For ex. in this situation, you should replace the PINPAD controller
from another set to see if you can rectify the problem.
For any replacement of new components, the system must be reset again,
and during the resetting, you must hold it for enough time around 20 seconds
when you following the measures of reset that I mentioned to you previously.

when we turn the key back and then forward again quickly , they are not
prompted for the fingerprint input, the car will start with only the key.
Is this normal? The system does not need a fingerprint if you turn the

this is normal, we set the time when the car key turn off or take out
for 10 seconds before you will need to reinput your fingerprint to start
the car engine, if take out car key for 10 seconds, defintiely the system
will request you to input fingerprint to start the car, otherwise less
than 10 seconds, you may start the car again just by turning the car key
to 'ON ' again. |

reason why we set like this is because there
are local regulation that drivers have to turn off the car when they stop
and park. It is for convenience of driver to restart the car quickly by
just turning on the car key without request to input fingerpint again. |

Moreover,
if it is installed to ' Manual Transmission' cars, when it climbs uphill
and stop on a sleep slope, when the car ready to go again, the engine
is very easily shut down because of 'unproper gear pedal control' or 'unproper
control of the padal for fuel supply'. so in this situation, if you have
to input again the fingeprint for starting the car, it would be very difficult
situation for you. That 's why you can immdiately turn off the car key
and turn it to the " ON" position to start the car again easily. |

Please
check if your technicians have correctly and properly connnected the '
ACC' and ' ON ' testing wires. Some cars do have 1-ACC and 2-ON gears
, but some cars has only got ' ON ' gear. The ACC and ON wires should
be connnected respectively to 'ACC' and 'ON ' according to the wiring
diagram. However,if the car that you install doens't have the 'ACC' gear,
please connect both ' ACC' and 'ON 'wires to the 'ON'. |

Sometime, when you turn the car key to the 'OFF' position, then there
won't be any more electric power for both ACC/ON. But for some cars when
you turn the key to 'OFF' position where 'ACC' is still remain have little

the key, you should take out the car key to be sure that electric power
is Cut. |

Today
an installer was having issues enrolling a fingerprint in a newly installed
fingerprint starter. All wiring is correct and the product is installed
on a 2008 KIA Sonata, however after navigating though the main menu for
a NEW ENROLLMENT, and selecting group one, the technician was prompted
to Press 1 to enroll the first position, after pressing one the voice
instruction beeped twice and responded with 'The input is not correct'.
The technician never got the voice instruction to enter for the first
time. Instead he was prompted to press 1,2,or 3 to enroll the 1st, 2nd,
or 3rd position. We troubleshooted with him on this issue, trying many
things such as; inputting the fingerprint before pressing 1 and after,
resetting the alarm, and enabling the alarm function. After many attempts
to enroll a new fingerprint, our technician was still given the prompt,
'(Beep,Beep) The input is not correct.' And the voice instruction never
guided the technician to enter his fingerprint, only to press one to do
so. |

is possibly believed that your technician had pull it hard accidentally
which causes the plug of the fingerprint enroller (on the back ) is loosen.
Solution: Please check the wire connection and there are 4 screws on the
back of fingerprint enroller, unload it, open from the back of the fingerprint
enroller and check to see if the connection of the wire is OK, then tighten
the screws back again. Then you will get the voice instruction for input
fingerprint correctly and normally. |

i was changing parameter i have changed something by mistake and now the
car is not starting automatically , if you put your fingerprint the voice
says¡¨ the car can be started by key¡¨ Currently if i open the door and
get into the car and put the ignitions to the on position, then you get
the sound for input , then i put my fingerprint into the scanner . then
the voice says the alarm is cancelled you can start the car by key. This

suggested, if you turn the car key only to the "ACC" position, not the
" ON " position, the voice will say that you can start the car by car
key. Please try to remember following things.
1. Everytime when you input your fingerprint, the key should be already
turning to "ON" position.
2. Everytime when you turn off the car engine, please turn it to OFF position
and should Take out the car key from the wheel lock.
3. Whenever you take out the car key, please wait for 10 seconds as the
default time for the system alarm resetting.

check the Black Main Host, on the top edge of the main host, there is
a small hole for Resetting the system. There is a fuse on the cable, please
take out the fuse first, use a pencil of a nail inserts and points into
the Reset hole on the main host, hold it and simutaneouly insert back
the fuse and hold it for around 20 seconds. Then the system will be reset
and the system will resume the initial setting. |

to my tests, I have three main issues:
1) this fingerprint reader is very sensitive, I have to put my finger
precisely this part of the finger I have enrolled, when I touch the fingerprint
reader another part of the finger it dosen't work, the voice says wrong
fingerprint. I think it is just need to be said in instruction card, that
you have to put this part fo finger that you have enrolled. |

if it is montage problem or product?! In my opinion it must activate every
time you turn off the car, even without taking out keys from the ignition. |

key and leave the car and the system will remind you to close the car
window. In your explained siuation, if I comprehend correctly, that means
if you just turn off the key, but don't take out the key and you want
to start the car again by fingerprint, it doesn't work ? I need to remind
you that everytime when you want to start the car by your fingerprint,
the car key has to turn to the " ON " poisition, if you turn off the key
and wants to start the car again, you will have to take out the car key
and wait for 10 seconds for the reset of the system. |

It could be very easy to understand that when your last input of the fingerprint
is not correct, then the system noticed this and it is about to give you
the voice message. At the same time, that you are carrying on continueously
putting your fingerprint to try to input the next fingerprint correctly
and the system recorded of your new and correct input and already start
the car, but the voice message is giving a little bit slower of the delay
time from the last input fingerprint. So I think it is about of the experience
of how to input fingerpint correctly and the materity of the operation.
When you input the fingerprint, please be assured that you are correctly
placing flatly of your fingerprint on the enroller to avoid unsuccessfully
record from the system, if the fingerprint is not enrolled correctly,
wait for the system to give the message. Be patient and don't be panic,
if the system record the correct input, it will definitely start and by
the way, you can change or set the default time for the input for your
adjustable preference time by the changes of the parameters. Now the default
time for the input the correct fingerprint is 40 Seconds. Moreover, we
have already using new upgraded chips with Faster speed of the CPU, so
now the reaction time will be much faster and the delay time is eleminated. |
